Freeware License Agreement

Universal Video Downloader is provided free of charge for personal, educational, and commercial use.

The copyright holder grants users a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to install and use the original application, subject to this agreement.

The application is distributed as freeware.

No paid subscription, registration, license key, or activation is required to use its included free features.

The application does not impose daily download limits.

Third-party platforms may impose their own restrictions or technical limitations.

Users may use the application for:

• Personal media management.

• Educational projects.

• Commercial video production.

• Video and audio conversion.

• Local media processing.

• Downloading authorized media.

• Other lawful activities.

Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws and platform requirements.

Users may share and redistribute the original, unmodified application installer free of charge, provided that applicable copyright notices and third-party license information remain intact.

Permission to redistribute modified versions of proprietary application components, rebrand those components, or sell licenses to the original application is not granted without written authorization.

This restriction does not limit independent rights granted by third-party licenses.

Original software code, application artwork, logos, interface designs, and documentation owned by Manikanta Kudipudi remain the property of their respective copyright holder.

This license grants permission to use the software; it does not transfer ownership of proprietary application components.

The application may use third-party tools including yt-dlp, FFmpeg, ffprobe, Python, and other libraries or runtimes.

Such components are governed by their own licenses, not by the proprietary restrictions in this agreement.

All third-party copyright notices, license terms, source-code rights, and redistribution requirements must be preserved.

Nothing in this agreement removes rights provided by open-source licenses.

This software does not grant ownership or download rights to third-party media.

Users are responsible for obtaining any permissions required to download, copy, modify, distribute, or publish media.

Users must respect applicable copyright laws, platform terms, and access controls.

No user account is required by the application's freeware license.

Local download history and preferences may be stored on the user's device.

Downloading media requires network communication with relevant media services.

Any optional future data collection must be disclosed separately.

The application is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

The developer does not guarantee that every website, format, video, or download will remain accessible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the copyright holder shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this software.

Nothing in this agreement excludes liability or statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Permission to use proprietary components under this license may terminate upon a material violation of its conditions.

Termination does not revoke independent rights granted under applicable third-party licenses.

The application may receive free updates, security fixes, and compatibility improvements.

Future license changes must be identified by an updated license version.
